Are you working at home?

I am just wondering if there are other participants in mylot who work at home like i do. Is it a full time job you have or just a part time sort of thing, a freelancer, for example? Do you have regular working hours? Where are you at by the way because most of the people i know who have a full time regular job at home are from Asia. Can you share the advantages and disadvantages you find so far from working at home compared to going to an office everyday? I am from the Philippines and i work at home as a Virtual Assistant to several clients in U.S. I work regularly from 9a to 6p PST. One of the advantages i get from working at home is that i am able to spend more time with my children and especially now that i am pregnant and about to give birth anytime from now, it's really very convenient that i just get to stay in the house. It's not as stressful than having to work in a regular office. The only thing i really don't like about working at home is that somehow i don't get to have the natural exercises that i had when i was going out of the house to work, like walking exercise. I sometimes neglect to care for my appearance because you're only inside the house anyway. Unlike, when you're going out to work, you're still concious on how you look. Hmmm..other than these i can't think of any other advantages or disadvantages based on my experience. So, i'd really love to hear from you. Thanks.
