I mean, how does anyone know what's safe anymore? I used Nutro brand dog food for a LONG time when I had my dog. Almost a year until I switched to Innova. I just saw on the news one of the nutro ones was recalled as well! This is getting scary. They need to figure out what's safe for these poor pets.

You might as well just start cooking for your dog but that is the last thing I need to do.
Can you imagine spending time to cook for your dog now too? Plus my dog has the most sensitive stomach if I feed her anything from the table she gets sick and pukey and poops everywhere.

I couldnt imagine doing that! Your poor dog. Hopefully she doesnt get any tainted food since she has a sensitive stomach anyways. It shouldn't be so dangerous to feed your pet, this is crazy!

Luckily my chihuahua's are eating Puina One Puppy even though Gizmo is two. Bella is 16weeks and so she needs puppy food. I can't keep Gizmo out of it so that's what they both get..lol They also split a can of Mighty Dog (the little cans)daily. I was giving them Ole Roy but not the sliced..as they won't eat that kind thank God. I was going to stop the canned food altogether but the vet said the mighty dog was fine and came from another place. It's just crazy...I used to feed Nutro years ago to my English Springer Spaniels. Gizmo is extremely picky, I tried Inovia but he wouldn't have anything to do with it..lol My ferrets love it.

I agree-- Even the cat food recalls are getting crazy! I threw out all the soft food we had- I figure I'll just go buy more instead of taking the chance of hurting my cat- So its hard food for a while for gracie. Luckily the dogs only get hard food and biscuits- So they are safe so far. I've been watching for signs of sickness on our pets.

What concerns me, is this a test? Could terrorist be the ones putting the poison in the dog and cat foods? Is it a test to see how well it works before it goes into the human foods? You are right, it is very scary!

I was a Wal-Mart shopping two days ago, and they were removing more food from the shelves. I am afraid to feed my dogs any dog food. I have been cooking for them. I want to find some new recipes for them. I think it's awful. That they were still removing food just two days ago. This world is getting scarier every day.
