My daugher is 10 months & i find myself eBaying a LOT - i have gotten some fantastic bargains on both new & used clothing from there & if you buy a number of things from the same seller, it costs you less in postage than buying 1 thing from 3 or 4 sellers. I think i'm kind of addicted but usually i buy my nieces & nephews things from there too - mainly coz i live in the middle of nowhere & travelling to get to the major stores (Myer, K-Mart, Target, Big W etc) is long & tiring - with the cost of fuel now it's expensive too. I can get brand new items, cheaper than in the stores & delivered to my door or local post office - it's much easier & more convenient for me - personally! If you haven't tried it - it's definitely worth a shot, you'll be surprised on ho much you actually can save!

I have actually been looking into the ebaying thing, and it seems to me that there are really some good deals to be found. I checked the item price on some of the lots, and it was about 6-8 dollars a piece, which was really good, and there was even some brand names in between.

When my daughter was that age, I shopped mostly at walmart and at consignment and thrift stores. They grow out of those clothes so fast! I didn't bother to buy many expensive clothes for her at that time. Consignment shops have nice clothing, very well maintained and less expensive than the store. Walmart always has good prices on those age range of clothes. Check that out!

I have actually found both Walmart and the thrift stores to be rather expensive, and I always find the clothes on clearance sales at places like JCpenneys and Sears for the same price or less.

I've bought a lot of clothes through Ebay, you get a good deal and can buy new as well as used clothes on there.

I usually shop around through the clearance racks. That is how my daughter has ended up with some expensive outfits that I would never had paid regular price for. Normally I shop at Walmart and Target. They seem to have the best deals most of the times. I also do shop at Goodwill and other thrift stores.

It certainly depends on where you are located. I have found the best deals at JCPenney's clearance aisles, and sometimes you can even find clothes up to 75 % off. I have also found really great clearance deals at both Target and Sears, and I am a great fan of H & M, but unfortunately they do not have many stores in the US. I have onlys seen one store that sold kids clothes, and that was in Manhattan. I have also been able to find good deals at Burlington Coat Factory. If you just look for the clearance racks as soon as you enter a store, you can really minimize your kids' clothing budget.

craigslist and ebay are good. I also shop at Target and stores like J.C. Penny and Sears. Another place i LOVE is Once Upon a Child (consignment). They have 50% sales which are amazing
