The nerve of Don Imus. if you don't know who he is. he was on this radio talk show and he was watched on the cable. He was asking for trouble when he made those remarks about a basket -ball team for girls. did'nt he know what was going to happen, My mouth flew open, I was here on my computer on Mylot. couldn't believe it. I knew he was going to get fired. he was a rude person anyway. did you ever listen to him, I need fedback. no I don't know. or yes or no answers.
if you don't know who I am talking about, which I'm sure you do. look in the news section in Mylot. there is a topic about him.

I am not trying to ruffel your feathers or make make anyone mad but I disagree.I agree, he should not have said what he did. but, he shouldn't be fired.White people use the same phrase and i have heard my own child call her best friend a nappy headed ho. They rappers say offensive things in their music and they aren't barred from the music industry. It is a figure of speech. And he never should have said it but he did.

You don't say that on National TV, or radio. He put his foot in his mouth, he should have know better. anyone that does that on Tv. or Radio should be fired. that was not exceptable
or professional at all.

No, it was not professional at all. It was rude and he apologized. I just didn't think he should have been fired for it because he isn't the only one that has ever said anything like that. I told you i wasn't trying to make you or anyone else mad.

Personally in my opinion, the best thing that happened, was him being Fired. The remarks he made in my opinion were uncalled for, and only asking for trouble. But he got what he deserved, and hopefully has learned his lesson.

I actually didn't know who this guy is until I heard about what he said..he even had the nerve to say he had a certain kind of relationship with black folks (I guess something like he felt he had to so he could get more listeners or something) and I guess he thought he could just say what he wanted and get away with it because of this "relationship"..personally, I think he pretty much asked for it..I never heard any of his shows or anything like that, and now I have a reason to continue to not do so..

I only listen to my favorite music radio channels and never heard of Imus until the news about him was on MSN site. I thought this was just the same thing like Rosie and Donald arguments, but when I read closely I realized this was nothing like it.
It's kind of strange actually how someone who supported a black person in politics could make such comments. I wonder if he supported minority in the beginning for other reasons and now we know his true colors, or is this just the biggest unforgivable mistake that costs someone his entire career? I guess no one else knows better than himself
