my wife keeps iritating me

I guess i'd have thought that maybe you'd be looking for a new job anyway - i know with a family, if my partner lost his job he'd look for a new one right away. You just said she was bugging you to look for a new job but you didn't say whether you'd actually been looking for one or not. Also, you didn't say whether your wife worked, if no, maybe you could just ask her why she's not working? If the money is that important, then both parties should be working. I wouldn't wanna go back to my home town either, too many people to drop by & annoy us if we're there - which is why i bought a house over an hour away, it gives us a chance to be more independent & not have guests dropping in every chance they get.
