I love frying because it is the easiest thing to do in cooking. The oil will not jump if you control the fire and stir the oil to a certain rhythm. I fry potato chips, french fries and sausages. I do it fairly well. But my wife does not like me in the kitchen because I sometimes mess things up.

I like food that is fried because it tastes better. But of course it's not good for our health. I don't like frying either but I do it a lot. One of the things that bother me is when I get oil over my shirts. I should wear an apron to protect my clothes but I just hate putting it on. I had a tee shirt that I liked a lot and I got some oil stains on it. I tried everything to clean it but the stains won't go away. So I ruined my favorite tee-shirt.

I only use a deep fryer to fry so I don't really worry about it. I don't fry fish, usually just french fries.

Pick up a "splatter shield" from any department store. A splatter shield is a screen like, round cover that keeps the grease from splattering and burning you. They're very inexpensive!

Cover the fish or meat with a lid while frying. You can avoid oil spraying while frying.

Maybe you must learn the technique. The caused of oil jumping around sometimes there are some water in the oil. Sometimes the pan still not dry enough before you pour the oil, and if this is happen, I usually realise that I was doing wrong, and stay away from the stove for a while until the water are gone. So before you pour the oil, be sure it's dry from water, if it's still water inside, you can use your stove to burn out the water.
If you fry the fish, besure you reduce the water in the fish (I know you can't make dry the fish), so the sprinkling between water and oil won't be bad. And keep distance for a while until the sprinkling is over.
That's what I usually done, but I also know this from my hubby -lol- he better in cooking than me :p

it actually depends on what you're frying. pork with lots of fat definitely make the oil go vicious. In that case i'd wear long sleeves and cover my arm even up to my hands.
anyway, you can substitute baking instead of frying especially if you're cooking fish or chicken. It's still the same because the outcome is still crispy and also less the fat. But did you know that frying with oil doesnt mean to just cook the food? but also to give it flavor. but if you're okay with the taste of you're food when it;s baked or roasted then better go with that.

oh yes! Me too. The oil seems to have magnetic lock onto my skin.
I don't tend to fry very much these days, I tend to put bacon, sausages, fish fingers, etc into the oven and cook them there. They are just as tasty and any fat which comes out can be used to baste them and keep them soft and supple.
I do fry eggs, but I don't like the fat very much at all.

I have ha faced similar problems but I still like cooking and I do take proper prvention when cooking. My mother had always told me to be careful while cooking with oil or frying stuff. So it hasn't ever been much of a hazard for me but ya I still hate those oil vapours forming and then condensing on the kitchen stuff...
Any ways
Take Care
May GOD Bless YOU

Last time, I hate frying fish too. The oil will keep 'Jumping' no matter how much I try to dry the fish so that there would not be any water in the oil. My grandmother taught me a trick. coat the fish with flour before frying. Now I am an expert at frying fish :P

Yes I always experience it every time I fried some fish or meat.I always cover the frying pan with its glass cover so that I will not be hit by those hot oil.
