the essence of "marking the best response"

hi! can you share us your insights about marking the best response? what's the essence of marking this? what happens to the unresolved discussions will it be taken against our points? thanks

The resolving your discussion encourages the sincere users who responded your discussion. Because in normal case one expects a come back behavior in the discussions by the user who started the discussion with some comments added and finally resolved it. The tournauments are incomplete unless awarded. You try it this way... Resolve your 30 discussions on some day and start few discussions on the next day; see what happens is you recieve ample responses as compared. This also is explained in FAQ of mylot, please read.

Thanks for the advice. I, too, had a very similar question. I'll difinately look into FAQ of mylot. Then I won't have to ask the question in a discussion form.

No they are not taken against our points. But I think they just leave them there till someone responds to them I guess.LOL
