I watched the latest F1 race in Sepang closely...Quite an interesting race...with both McLaren drivers manage to seal the first and second position..
From that race, I can say that McLaren machine has more pickup power than Ferrari this year...Just look at how Alonso easily overtake Massa at the beginning of the race..Alonso did really take the advantage...
While Hamilton cleverly follow closely at the back of the Kimi Raikonnen before he push forward to overtake both of the Ferrari drivers in the first corner...but actually, quite risky for him as he really got a tight space between him and Massa...
Hamilton was really played a big role for Alonso victory on that day as he manage to blocked and slow down the Ferrari drivers while giving the chance to Alonso to speed up and left behind the other drivers with the time gap 20s between him and Hamilton (second place)...
The funny thing was Massa was really can't wait to stay at the back of Hamilton...he pushed his machine really hard until he was late to break at the corner, causing him to lost control on his machine...he managed to get back into the track but he only managed to finish at 5th position behind Nick Heidfeld (BMW)..

Lewic Hamilton is good but he got a chance from one of the big teams and thats the most important because all the drivers in the f1 cirkus is really good drivers but when your on a bad team you only have a small chance for a podium place.
That is for sure very annoying to know that you are atleast as good as the best drivers but you only get the chance at a lousy team.

Yes..I agree with you...A better team for sure will provide a bigger chance for a good driver to emerge better among the other driver..And for sure, Lewis Hamilton is so lucky to be in one of the biggest team in F1..but undoubtedly, he is such a calm driver...he manage to absorb the pressure from the so much attention given to him from all side...

Having been something of a petrolhead for a good few years, I am very impressed with Lewis Hamilton's debit performances. His first race in Australia he comes in third place, in Malaysia, second place. This young man deserved watching

Yeargh! I agree with you about Hamilton..but its too early to say..the series is just started..lets give him 5-6 races and see whether his performance is consistent..if yes, probably this rookie will make a drastic changes in the F1 world champion race title..
about the engine power between McLaren and Ferrari..yes, of course Ferrari will be the favorite..we know Ferrari is too long already dominating the F1 series..and perhaps, this is the reason why McLaren give more focus on developing a more powerful engine...A great pickup power of the engine really make a lot of different to the team..
