I agree that to this date Kelly Clarkson is indeed the best singer to have come from the show.

Kelly is nothing compared to Carrie Underwood. I am not a big country fan but Carrie can SING! My favorite winner of all of them, which also is one that sings a genre that I like to listen to is last years winner, Taylor Hicks. I do like the runner's up also. I don't care for Clay Aiken but the rest of them I love as well.
