What's the fastest processor?

i think pentium4 is the fastest processor

Intel's and AMD 's CPU are CISC CPU, but you know RISC CPU are more faster!

The fastest processor is very likely to be a quad core one although im not completey sure about which type and stuff. Quad core is quite new so its going to be fast - very fast. Although, computers and programs wont need to use four processors for quite a while yet, a high end machine built around a dual core should be good enough for a year or two yet.
