when you were a child? At some stage of your formative years?
Sometimes when I smell a certain brand of hot chocolate it reminds me of an Aunt who used to make us cocoa and a huge stack of toast to dunk in it. And that was about 50 years ago.
Once in a while I will bite into a certain apple and the scent released will remind me of my childhood days when we would climb a neighbors apple tree and sit up on a branch eating big red apples.
Or maybe it is something more recent. Maybe a perfume or cologne brings back memory of a lost love.
Every time I am close to an ocean and smell the that unmistakable scent, I think of a lost love I med years ago on a Caribbean Island.
Has that ever happened to you? Has a special scent sparked memories from days gone by?

yes researchers have found the connection between smell and memories.
My smells are estee launder perfume, reminds me of my mother when I was growing up, a fresh green pepper reminds me of my mothers kitchen when I was growing up.
