I've been a member of AC for a while now and have only wrote one article which is more recent than anything. I was just wondering where alot of you get your motivation and inspirations to write your pieces, I seem to have ran out on both somewhere along the lines. :)
Also, how long does it usually take for AC to review submitted work and how much are articles usually worth?

You have only written one article? I have only two. They take about 2 weeks now for some reason. Was once 5 days. I hear they are training some new people. I don't know. I have two more articles for their consideration. I want them to pay me for these like the other two they were generous with. They have a newsletter that can give you topics to write on and if you get into a flow pattern ideas will come as you write others. A notebook might become necessary. Good luck to you...

I have gone over to Associated Content and read your articles. The one on diabetes was very enlightening. I usually never write about health issues, and I am always impressed when someone can digest all that medical information and bring it down to earth for others.

I've been a member for months now and checked on the site at random times but never really added my own content until recently. I only have one article which is an editorial about American Idol and my own experience with auditioning. However, I'll be honest when I say I breezed through it pressed for time and it's pretty bad for a first article. I'm still learning my way around AC but I will definitely look you up and support your work! :) Thanks for the comment.

That's true. I usually find it easier for things to come to mind but more difficult to actually bring them out into writing. Do you ever have that problem?

I've written about 12 articles and last week they had a special offer for product reviews, so I have 5 of those pending (maximum amount you could do...I really had to push myself on those). Normally I like to write about politics and the environment, but my articles range from how to eat healthier to bioterrorism to corporate scandal to activities in Chicago (where I live), so there really are a lot of things you can write about. If you get stuck, you can always look at what types of information/articles they are requesting.
Anyone who wants to find me can look at http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/25660/christine_zibas.html
Drop me an email over at Associated Content, and I will respond to your articles (read and rate them) too. Good luck with your writing, AC writers!

I'll definitely look you up and support your writings. You're definitely eleven articles up on me. Haha. I should probably get on there and get to writing.

I've looked into writing for them, but I can't seem to come up with ideas to write about. It seems like whatever I think about, the research to make a decent article would take way too much of my time. I think I'd do better if I could write fiction. At least nobody would point out my mistakes. ;)

The only article I've written was an editorial about American Idol and my own experience with auditioning. Not exactly my best work but I was pressed for time and creativity. Hopefully it won't flop too bad like a fish out of water, even if it wasn't the best article.

It's been taking almost two weeks for them to respond to my submissions! It's getting kind of frustrating and the payouts seem to be lower...I've written about 5 articles all payments were between $4-$7.
Read a lot of magazines - this is wear I get a lot of my ideas from. I also get ideas from myLot. Oh, and I just did my first two 'how to' articles. Not sure whether they accepted them or how much they'll pay, but I heard AC loves them.

I'm definitely big on celebrity news and magazines so maybe if I just figure out a way to incorporate that into AC articles, I can go to town as far as writing is concerned. I don't know how good I'd be at how-to's. Nothing really sticks out in my mind. Thanks for the comment though, it's great to have other people to discuss AC with.

I have written several articles for AC and my offers are all over the place. I will actually sit down once and awhile and think of article topics. Or, you can use the newsletter.

I look at the newsletter some-times but I haven't honestly used any of their ideas for writing. Maybe I should start though. Thanks for the comment! :)

I enjoy writing for ac, i have written several articles and they range all over the place, i have found that my favorite articlcles seem to be interviews, however i have a limited amount of people that i know to do these interviews, however i also write about health issues in the news, i also subscribe to cdc (center for disease control) they have all kinds of wonderful information. I have also written about my two pit bulls, and just looked up interesting websites on the internet. i just love to write. also i have written about things that intrested me on the news. since i dont leave the house much i have to look all over the place.
ps
you know those lawyer comercials for class action suites.... find out what the suite is about, ie black lung, medication reactions, etc. then write about the actual disease. also on occasions you will find one of us get on here and ask for ideas on what to write.... you can do that too. we all seem to pull together
just a few ideas

I am wondering how do they pay you when you get money for writing something? Do they mail you a check? or do they send it to your paypal or egold account? I haven't actually messed around and got information about it, so I thought I'd ask here. Thanks :)

Associated Content pays through paypal, highly recommended to sign up - it's worth the effort!

I actually just got my first offers today - 10 days after submission. Not quite the 5 they refer to, but hey, it's money!
As far as inspiration, just start writing and see what happens!
GOOD LUCK, I'll be looking for you!
