what's your stand with long distance love affair ?

i have this friend who broke up with her hobby, because they fell out of love because of their distance they've been a couple ages ago and yet after being away from each other they did broke up, Does absence make the heart grow ponder?

I am living proof that long distance relationships work. I was living in Alaska and my true love was living in Scotland. We are talking about 8000 miles between us. We used instant messenger alot. We also burned the phone lines on the weekends. It was rough having a 9 hour time difference. If you love each other, it will work. By the way, I moved to my hubby's country.
