Stomach, left side, right side or back?, I think people who sleep on their backs are more prone to snore. My husband sleeps on his back and every 15 minutes I have him to lay on his side or stomach and he seems to do alot better. I dunno why he wants to sleep on his back that is so uncomfortable to me. I prefer to sleep on my left side. Or I guess It depends on the side of the bed I am sleeping. My face has to be pointing outward. What about you?

I sleep on my left side with a pillow between my legs. I have arthritis in my hips and for some reason it helps me be more comfortable and I am not as stiff in the mornings. I do sleep on my back often as well, but I prop myself up with pillows so I don't snore as much, that, and it often helps with sinus drainage. Apparently I snore, LOL! My boyfriend has told me this several times and he laughs about it.

Thanks for the best response rating, I really appreciate it. Yes, pillows do help and I just love the soft cushioney ones that just make you feel like falling into bed and nesting in them, it is very comforting!

I sleep on my tummy when i'm not pregnant. Since i'm pregnant, I sleep on my side. I hate sleeping on my back, I feel like im suffocating for some reason! Weird, I know!

I usually sleep on my stomach for the most part. I sometimes switch to the side. If I sleep on my side, it's usually the left side, but occasionally the right. I never sleep on my back though cause I also think it's really uncomfortable and I can't really fall asleep that way.

It is habit . I lay head down and hug my pillow to get a sound sleep. There is no other healthy way I can suggest to anybody because I'm used to this for so may years .

I normally start from sleeping on my back. But I just cannot keep still. So I will start shift my body so that I will sometimes turn left, sometimes turn right, sometimes land up lying on my stomach.
It's always a horrible sleeping experience since I can never sleep still. :P

"Sleep, I can't remember the last time I got any:-( .... I guess to answer your question I would have to say left side. Oh, I can't sleep on my back, I have nightmares. I think people who sleep on their back tend to snore!

I am exactly the same way. I have to sleep partly on my left side and stomach, my face always has to point outward and i can only sleep on the very edge of my pillow. If not I feel like I'm suffocating. I absolutely can not sweat while I sleep, so , I sleep with a fan pointed directly at my face.
