Most kids don't like vegetables at first but don't be discouraged. Reintroduce them while mixing them with other foods that they like. Be creative by using sauces, dips or seasonings. My baby likes vegetables but he prefers fruit, so mix them up, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But eventually, the taste grows on him.

My children beg for vegetables and love them. I have the only children in the supermarket that say "Please buy brocolli for dinner Mum" I put it down to reverse psychology. My husband and I are not keen vege eaters so we don't push vegetables on to the children. We eat a healthy diet with lots of fruit and fibre. Our veges are generally salads or potatoes and frozen veg. I have never made a big deal about any food group I treat everything calmly and the same. If they don't like it then someone else in the family will like it and will eat it. My youngest baby has learned very quickly not to turn anything down as his sister's will eat it before he has finished shaking his head. It sounds weird but believe me it works, my kids eat everything. They even eat olives, mussels, brussel sprouts.

I don't really have a problem with getting my son to eat his vegetables. I guess I'm just really lucky, but he actually enjoys eating vegetables. His favorites are cucumbers, lettuce, avocados, spinach and radishes.
I think if kids, from a very young age, see adults eating vegetables as part of their everyday diet, and are given vegetables from a very young age too, then maybe there is a better chance that children will continue to want to eat their vegetables.

Well there are plenty of ways that you can make kids eat vegetables. All I do is put a little at a time that way I never over do it and I would say something like Well all you have to do is eat the little bit and you can go outside and it works and then after that whenever they get in trouble they ask for more to make me feel better. enjoy the posts.

It helps to introduce vegetables into their diet as early as possible. Most of my kids love vegetables, especially when they can pick garden fresh ones from our yard. My youngest isn't big on vegetables, but I try to get her to eat at least a few bites. I season them, offer ranch dip for raw veggies, I cook them into a lot of dishes, and I also give her fruit with them. If she eats 3 bites of cucumber, she can have a strawberry, etc.
