for sure, i choose cristiano ronaldo because of his skills and he is also not that type of temperamental player like Wayne rooney..actually im also admiring rooney because of his fear-no-one attitude on the pitch but the reason i dont like him very much is because he cannot control his emotion while pressured by the opponents..as a conclusion cristiano ronaldo is the best..

it would have to be both. with out ranaldo, rooney cant score, and without rooney united cant win

In fact it is really difficult to choose only one of them because they are both very good players.
Although, I think that rightnow Ronaldo is better than Rooney. He lost his wight and he is back in shape and I think he can do a really good job is Manchester United! Rooney doesn't look so good right now. Also in my opinion Cristiano Ronaldo is more creative and affective player than Wayne Rooney and He is doing some really amazing things ehile he is playing!
So I think I would choost Cristiano Ronaldo as my favorite between them both.

For this season, i will say Christiano Ronaldo as he is simply amazing this season due to the facts that he not only goals for the strikers.. he can score alot of goals too!! not forgetting he is just a mid field player and he is the top scorer for Man Utd..
Wayne Rooney, din really performance as well as compared to the past.. after his injury, he is not as effective as before.. maybe because of his fear of aggravating his old metarsaral bone injury..
Not only that.. Christiano Ronaldo is a must exciting player to watch compared to Rooney..
