my child got the slot for the University of the Philippines Child Development Center! It is a difficult process. the applicants had to undergo a random sampling. the availalble slots for her age-group (toddlers)were very few. but she made it1 we are enrolling her this coming may. im excited about it as well as my husband and the entire family! the thought of having my child go to school makes me think of a lot things. first, it hit me that i'm sort of growing old. it's part of life. how about you? how did you feel?

First of all, congratulations. I didn't really feel old when my kids started pre-school, but I did begin to feel old when my firstborn started high school. She'll soon be in college. I have another starting high school next year. I must be getting old if I have such old kids!
