Did you ever go to a haunted house for halloween?

Lots of towns and organizations sponsor a haunted house to raise money during halloween. Did you ever go to one? Did you like it or not? I go sometimes, but I always get the beejeebers scared out of me and grab the nearest person while I'm screaming.

Yes,when I was in high school they used to decorate this really old hotel, it's almost 100 years old now so it is creepy enough on its own, but they used to go all out. It was awesome!

That is so neat!! Around here they just use old houses, never anything as huge as a warehouse or anything. I remember, it's hard to find good babysitters that you can trust with your precious little one! Hope you have a fun halloween anyways.

It was really neat. I had a great time every year that I went. Of course, now I have moved, but here they have an old warehouse they decorate, but I haven't been yet. I keep saying I want to check it out, but haven't had a baby sitter on Halloween so hubby and I could go yet.

I used to go to them when I was younger. I found them facinating, but would always piss ppl off because they couldn't scare me.

That's funny! Sure wish I could remain that cool and collected...I usually end up jumping, or grabbing somebody, when somebody leaps out at me in those places. (They probably get ticked off too, lol!)

That's always fun to do too! I always liked the trick-or-treating tradition. We're taking my grandson (almost 4) for the first time this year. Thanks for writing!

Lots of kids get over-scared by these things we think are fun, but that's OK. I hope she has a great halloween with other festivities and fun...you too!

I went to one once, when I was around 7. I still remember it because it was scary like hell to me. I don't remember who I went with though. I just remember that after that I didn't want to go to one again. Maybe I'll go to one this year and take my little brothers so they can get a little scared.

I have been to quite a few in my past back when I used to
Celebrate Halloween, and even helped do a Couple of them also. I am Glad I choose not to Celebrate Halloween anymore, and leave this to the ones who do.

True, some of them aren't that scary, but they're still fun for the most part. I like to see the creativeness behind the costumes and all. It seems like it must take an awful lot of work to put one of these things together.

Salem, Mass...that had to be ONE great haunted house!! I mean, there's so many there to begin with. I went to the Salem Witch museum when I was there once, that was kinda interesting. That town really has some history behind it! Thanks for replying!
