Help me pray...

I know there are alot of praying people out there so I'd like to ask for help in praying for my family. It's a very personal story to get into detail, but I will tell a little so you will know what to pray about. My sister has a son the age of 5 who has weekends with his father. The father doesn't really take care of the son so the grandma is always the one taking care of him. From day one that my sister tried to get full custody of him about a couple of years ago this lady, his grandma has always tried to do whatever in her power to get him taken away. It started from when my sister put the father on child support, and tried to get full custody of him because the father was never the one taken care of him, it made the grandmother angry. So basically the father is sort of like a mamma's boy and his mother, the grandmother of my sister's son is always trying to cause some sort of drama. She's called the cops several times over petty things, she also tried to say my sister was beating her son because he had some bruises on him,(which every boy gets from falling or playing rough), so they closed the case because they couldn't find anything. So she's always said after that, she would do anything in her power to get him taken away. So now this last weekend, my sister went like normal to go pick him up from his grandma's and she couldn't pick him up because the grandmother called the cops because he said that he didn't want to go back home because someone was doing stuff to him. So, this is now affecting a very close family member who we all know is innocent. This is just another one of this lady's ways of trying to get my nephew taken away and she has gone too far. So I ask if you would help me pray for my nephew, sister and another close family member. We are all very close so it's so difficult to see them go through this but we know that the Lord is on our side and we will get through this terrible storm. Thankyou and God Bless:)

You are most welcome. Such a shame that the kids are being put through something like this over a lie that the grandmother stated. Makes me really wonder what the heck is going through her mind to be putting kids through this sort of mess. I will pray with everything within myself, cause these children deserve to be with their mom where they will be happy.

Thankyou so much. Well I just found out today that my sister said yesterday they interviewed her oldest son, today they are supposed to be interviewing the other who is 4. It's just terrible what her boy's are having to go through. So she will be hearing hopefully later some updates. Thankyou again so much for your kind words and prayers.

Lord, we just lift up this family. I pray that you will touch the heart of the grandmother and show her what she is doing is wrong. I pray for the mother, and the other close family member. I also pray for this child as we know that it is probably confussing him about what is going on. Lord, I know that YOu can straighten all this out, just give this family the strength that they need to make it through in YOur Precious Name I pray, Amen

Oh the poor little boy, that his father does not take care of him, yes the father definately sounds like a mummy's boy to me. Yes that is true that every boy ends up getting hurt when they play. Of course I will definatly pray for your nephew sister and another close family member. God bless you too and I do pray that this will be resolved for everyone sake.

Oh yes, he is a mommy's boy that's for sure. His mom does everything even pay his child support. Thankyou so much for your prayers and kind words.

I am so sorry for your sister, i think the worst thing can happen to a mother is taking her children away..
I will pray for her, and hope God will help her get him back...
I think she also has to do all it takes to get him back and to be much more stronger than his grandmother, since she has the right yet the grandmother doesn't.
God bless you and your sister..

I know, I just can't imagine the pain she is going through right now. I have to say though there is a peace about her right now that I have never ever seen in her before. This is actually bringing her so much closer to God and changing her life dramatically. Thank you so much!

I will remember you and your family in my prayers. This is awful for the family to go through! Every child should be entitled to know both parents and both parents should know not to slander the other. As a grandma myself, I would never put words into my grandchildrens mouth. Granny's should have more sense. Some people will go to terrible lengths to blacken an innocent persons name. I will pray for you all. Take care!

I know, she seems like such a nice person but she's done so many things in the past to my sister and she never thinks first about how it will affect her grandson, especially now. Thankyou so much for your prayers:)

May God surround you in his golden light of protection and may all negative thoughts, words or actions projecting from you or being projected towards you be returned to their source with love and the Holy Dove of Peace. All these things I ask according to God's will. Amen.
The above prayer is one that was shared with me some time ago. I do not pray broadly but utter the above prayer daily. It is concerned with protection and healing to my understanding. Good luck to all of you.

I hope this couldn't give too much of a trauma to the child. I pretty well how bothered your nephew could be because of the things happening around him, where he doesn't know where he really should be.
Anyways, am including your cousin and family in my prayers. Hope she can win her son's custody. Godbless!

Custody cases are always untidy no matter how you try to arrange an amicable settlement. You have my prayers and my empathy. On the other hand have you guys taken a good look at the needs of the side? Is there no way a situation like this could have been avoided because in the end the little child sufers the most. Best wishes to you all and blessings.

You are absolutely right, the child does suffer the most. He also has another brother who is 4, just found out he is being questioned today, so now it is another one suffering. It's a complicated situation. Yes, I'm sure now looking at the situation, there are probably things that she could have done to make the situation different, and avoid all of this mess, but, we just never imagined the grandma would go this far. It's too late now to think about all that though, so all we can do now is pray and wait for the outcome and hopefully start the whole custody process again after all this is done. Thankyou so much for your prayers and comments.

I will certainly keep you and your family in my prayers. It is horrible to witness something like this happen, and feel so helpless about it!
I pray that your nephew will not be affected by these actions and that he will be returned to the sole custody of him Mom, with no outside intervention from Dad and especially "grandma".
My heart goes out to you!
God Bless

I am sorry to hear about this situation and I will pray about it. In fact, I did already and will continue.
Unfortunately, this is not unusual. It happens too often. There are parent support groups online that can help her understand legal stuff and her rights. Here are some sites for her to check out - profane-justice.org and ColoradoFRAI.org
Oh, and don't worry if she isn't in Colorado, she should still check the Colorado one out, because they will do what they can to find someone to help her.
Best wishes and God bless.
