what would be the world after 100 years from today?

I think the world be a lot hotter by then as we are living longer and destroying natural resouces and the planet is responding with global warming. I think it is possible we will go through a very definite change in society. Too many people counts for not enough living space. More buildings will mean less trees. It's all a very sad thought.
