Whether be action, drama, horror, love story, sci fi, cartoons, anime, there are movies that just touch our life. For instance, a particular scene in that movie is somehow similar to yours, or for no reason, you seem to connect to what the characters in the movie are feeling. For me, I am a melodramatic person, I easily cry over movies ( even if its cartoons)... When I'm watching a movie, I tend to put my place in the place of that character. I feel the situation. Sometimes I get too attached with movies, I get depressed with reality, I feel like everything must have a good ending ; at times that's good but sometimes my over attachment to movies get me into fight with my boyfriend 'coz I want him to be overly romantic like those that I see in movie, my imagination also gets wild because of this and my dreams becomes weird

yeah extraordinary choice of film since its about Aids... John Q is good, a very sad story though, I pity the situation and sometimes I think would I do the same if I were in his shoe, I just wonder.

yeah I've seen both... I'm just curious how did both movies inspire you or touch your life in a way... 'coz even though both stories has mixture of love, drama, suspense, it is more classified as science fiction because of the weird things happening to both characters?

I think for me it's "The Big Chill" and "Man on the Train." Both have scenes that capture people around my age or older pondering their lives, what they should have done differently and if there is time to make a change. These are themes I think probably resonate with most people 40 and over.

That's easy. Pay it Forward. That movie inspires me like no other. And I believe that that premise could easily work. I've been tempted to try it.

I've also seen Pay it Forward, and this movie, inspired me a lot to do good things to others, and return your blessings to other people. After seeing this movie, I'm so affected, I try and pay it forward too ;D
