Which came first - egg or hen ?

I personally believe the chicken came first.The Bible says and God made animals. I think the fact that they lay eggs is just a perk God gave them for reproducing purposes.Guess i wont know for sure until i get to Heaven and ask.

Its not a riddle is it? its a science question. I believe it was the egg and somehow the egg was a freak of nature and that became a hen or something. It can never be proven one way or another though so the questions will go on...............

If you believe in The bible. God created animals. it would mean he created the hen and the rooster. then they procreate by laying eggs.

You can never had an answer for this because actually its not a riddle, its a fact that must be known to how it occur. Two answers for this, Two answers: Chicken first: In Religion, we all or some have read that in the Bible, God created everything including animals, and its very plausible that they are grown ups, not egg. Egg first: In Science, evolution explains that everything mutates from single organism to more complex being as Human. Therefore, Egg must came from the other class of animals, but hatched and mutates to most gentle creature as chicken because of the changed of environment where its parents went and lived.

Simple, the chicken. If the egg came first who had made it hatch? The chicken must sit on it in order to make it hatch... =)
