Almost a joke...

Going to bed the other night I noticed ppl in my shed stealing things.
I phoned the police but was told no one was in the area to help. They said they would send someone over as soon as possible.
I hung up. A minute later I called again,"Hello," I said,"I called you minute ago because people were in my shed. You don't have to hurry now, I've shot them."
Within minutes there were a half a dozen police cars, plus a helicopter and an armed responce unit. They caught the burglars red handed.
One of the officers said,"I thought you said you shot them?"
To this I replied,"I thought you said there was no one available."
Tell me what you think, I think this is very true. That is something that would happen in my area. How about you?

LOL! While reading the first few lines I was thinking exactly what you ended up saying!!!!
I lived in a place that was very much like you described.
Funny how if you shoot someone they reckon you need 12 police car and a copter. Great post anyway, for some reason I happen to be one of your friends already but I'll keep an eye for your posts. keep it up.

That's a good idea to get the police's attention. And shame on then to answer no one is available. When they can do something about the situation. They should always be alert and ready to serve the community. tst tst tst...(^^,LOL)

Hey jennifer, i'd probably would have done that too. Police would respond to a situation if only someone got killed already. That was funny and very resourceful of you. What the heck you get them to respond and caught the burglar too. Hurray for you.
