We will have an army draft soon and full blown war if these politicians and leaders do not adjust to the circumstances. Our conservative leaders seem to not care or have some understanding of history. Though we are currently the most advanced Super Power on earth that does not have to last. Throughout history, there have been many powers with even more vast powers than the US. The Persians, The Egyptians and the Romans all had their day. In modern times the British, the French and even Germany took a stab at world domination. Everyone had their time but these things work in cycles. What goes around comes around. Our conservative leaders still have the neanderthal thinking that they can control what other soveirgn countries do in their borders. That may have been true right after world war II, when everyone was scared of the Nuclear bomb. However as you know many countries are getting nuclear capability also. This today is the biggest bone of contention the US has with Iran. It is okay for the US to have nuclear weapons but our leaders feel they have the right to determine who is civilized enough to have them also. The United States is the only country to have actually dropped a Nuclear or Atomic Weapon. Are we sure other countries can or should truly trust the US to be civilized? These circumstances and tensions will drive us to a greater military tension. N. Korea tested their Nuclear weapons and dared anyone to stop them. They only agreed to negoiate a truce when they were promised billions of dollars for their economy. Iran has ratched up the tension also. With the taking of the British soldiers, they made the world face that the inevitable is coming. Either you in the west agree that we Iran are a major world player or get ready to prove that you have the power and international goodwill to enforce your view.

We won't have a draft because we'll have a civil war instead.
