How do I get my 14 month old daughter to "forget"

My daughter has a habit of reaching down onto the little organizer on the side of her changing table to grab her Tylenol. She loves Tylenol and she knows that's where we keep it (she's been teething a lot lately). She doesn't need the Tylenol anymore, she hasn't cut a tooth in a few weeks, but she basically begs and throws a fit for it. She reaches right down there. I have moved it and she goes nuts every time I change her because she wants it. I have to strap her onto the changing table or else she'll fall off looking for it (I never had to strap her in until I stopped giving her the Tylenol). I'm not sure what to do. Is there a way to make her "forget" about the Tylenol? I pretty much ignore the temper tantrum, but it's been going on for over a week now. Help!!!

The only way you can change your child's behavior is to change your own first. I would suggest putting the Tylenol somewhere else where she cannot reach it. Don't put anything in that organizer where she can reach. Once she realizes there's nothing there for her after reaching two or three times, she will indeed forget. Also, give her a small toy to play with while you are changing her so you don't have to struggle with her so much.

I bet the reason is that she likes the taste.. I would replace it with a healthy type gummy. It's been a long time since my kids were that small but gerber used to make some. Maybe try something like that. Just a thought!

Try distracting her with toys and other things. She's becomes used to getting the tylenol.
Stick with not giving it her. Over time she will forget. Persistance pays with most things like this.
