I am trying to install the "Operating System", but when I do so it goes through a series of test and checks and downloads and then it gives me an error of "CDR101: not ready reading drive z" Abort, retry or fail?

The error CDR101 refers to the fact that the computer cannot see the CD ROM drive, which means that it will not be able to copy the information to the hard drive and install.
Try starting the computer with a floppy boot disk, which should create a ramdrive with generic drivers CD001. Then check if you can access the CD drive.
If you cannot see the CD drive then check that the cables have not come loose inside the computer.
Failing this you may have a hardware problem with the drive.

I used the boot disk and it goes through the process but it tells me that the cd is in drive z. how can you chance it to another drive to see. and when I type in c:and enter it says volume has no label. the goes for drive d as well.
Please say ther is a fix for this.
