How much do you pay for rent?

I pay $595 which is pretty good where i live, just wondering what rent is like in other places.

I cant even imagine only paying a dollar a year, even the slummiest places here are still a few hundred a month

lolll,what kind of salaries you people have?i pay 100 dollars,i was paying 170 euros in a bigger city of my country..but now that i read your posts,my rent sounds reasonable:)))

We pay £480 a month, I don't know what that is in dollars. Probably about $700. I'm not sure though. It is a lot compared to our income, there's only just enough for the other bills! But unbelievably, it's about average for round here.

We now own our house. Prior to buying it, we were paying $605/month plus all the utilities.
