I feel scared of being alone at home.Do you?

I am not scared of being alone, but sometimes I get spooked even if the house was full of people and the thought keeps nagging me it happened to me once after a very longtime at around 2 in the night so got up checked every damn room, checked if every door was locked inspite of all the assurance I came to my bedroom and locked the room from inside and kept my phone right beside me just incase........... I am home all alone for the most part of the day I keep myself busy reading, scrapbooking,surfing, mylotting,music there are so many good things to do then ofcourse is the daily work that I need to do like washing, cleaning, cooking. The day just zooms by me and I never realise that it is sundown already and my love is back from office already!

No i am not scared to stay home alone. My husband used to travel for work and so i was alone all week.I am not at all scared of the dark either. i'm never really bored as i can always read a book or watch a movie. I always cook for myself. I love to cook

I usally either watch a movie, read or chat with a friend online or on the phone or go to mylot. Sometimes I like being alone but then sometimes I don't want to be alone either.

Yes, you are really young, it's normal feeling scared when you are at home alone. I think that cooking could be a good idea to keep you busy, it's creative and.... tasty :) My favourite hobbies are drawing and painting, so I have no problems when I'm at home alone, my real problem is the possibility to stay at home alone because I have a son who is 7 and I'm always busy with him.

yes ,it is not easy to spand time when you are alone at the night or when there is darkness.but it depends on habbit and nature of each one because nature and signature are not same.it also depends on the circumstances. for ex:when you feel tired and you are alone in the home then you definately go to bed for the rest and you want to do nothing at this time.if you feel bored you see film or tv serials at the midnight time.so we can says that you can spends time according to yourself and according to situation.

yup, sometimes i do feel scared at night if i'm alone at home. usually i'll pass the time by watching tv or go online..that will keep me busy. if not, if i still feel scared, i'll ring someone and yak on the phone or find someone to go out with.

I don't really like to be alone either especially at night when my mind can play tricks on me. When I am alone, I do cook for myself and find random things around the house to do. Sometimes I clean, read, listen to music, anything to get my mind off of being alone.

No... I love to be home alone =) I just love to have the place for myself.. I get excited when my bf is going out *hahaha* I usually watch a good movie, cook something to eat and just enjoy my time alone =)

im not scared of being alone and im okay to be at home by myself. im not very comfortable though if i will be alone at night and will have no one with me.. with all the crimes out there.. i will not be able to sleep well i guess.

I wish I had more time alone at home, especially nights. I rarely have moments when I'm unbusy..so I'll do a number of things. I'll tidy about the house, I'll read, write, watch tv..learn something new, yoga, practice sword moves even though I no longer have a sword, organize my books..or closet. Play with my dog. Gor for a run. Listen to music. Surf the web..lol. There's always something to do, I don't think I know the meaning of bored ^_^, I mean how can anyone be bored? No matter who you are..if you think a little, there's something to do! It could be crafts..or doodling! Anything is possible, it just takes a tiny bit of thought sometimes. :) ..and cooking's more of a social thing for me. I don't eat terribly alot..being tiny, I guess I don't need to, despite how active I am.

I have 4 big dogs, so I am never really home alone. And I am certainly never scared. Without them, I might be... and that's partly why I have them. I lived alone for years before I got married, and always had dogs. And because I have them, I don't get bored. I can always take them for a walk. and there is a never ending list of chores to be done around the house - cleaning, cooking dinner, walking the dogs... whatever. I can play any of my instruments, call a friend, whatever... I don't mind being alone.

I don't feel scared when home alone, just lonely and anxious. My cat is ehre to keep my company so she lessens the loneliness a bit. Your house never quite seems empty when theres ac at about. my partner has gone out and i'm too hungry to wait for him to come back before eating so i'm going to make some food for myself. Apart from that i will keep myself busy online!

There are times that i just want to be alone because i want to concentrate on something, but generally i don't wanna be alone at night, i could be alone in my room but knowing that my family is within the same house just in another room. I don't really know if i could live with it being alone in life, Just impossible for me.lol!!

Nope! I find it cool if I'm alone. I also feel like an independent one. Usually, I surf the net and update my website to keep me busy.

I am the opposite I love to live alone, I hate living with others. I am too independent I like the whole place to myself, I never get bored, or lonely, I can do as I please, do what I like, when I like, no one to answer to and no one to nag me or to share stuff with. I don't feel scared at all, I feel at peace, totally relaxed!

I can stay home alone from morning till evening but scared to stay alone in night.Even in mid day if am alone i will either watch tv ,listen to some music , clean my house, message or chat with my friends. No option i had to cook because i cant tolerate hunger.Hope i will find it difficult to eat as cooked by me as am not a good cook.

I hate being alone at night or in any kind of darkness. I have always been afraid of the dark, and I have not ever really 'grown' out of it. I feel safe when my husband is around but if I am alone at night I always have the T.V up louder than usual so I dont hear any weird noises that I can start to imagine is something. I have a lot of lights on to if I am home alone at night, when I was a kid and would have to go out in the dark to feed our dog, I would talk out loud like I was really brave in the hope of scaring any bad guys away, I know pretty lame hey. I can not concentrate properly when home alone at night I ususlly channel flick and eat to much!

It depends upon the mood I am in. Most of the times I enjoy being alone. I like the space and privacy I get. Being living in a small house the being alone feeling is more pronounced and hence I like it. However sometimes if I'm feeling depressed, or if I've discussed about scary things with friends then I wish that somebody should be there with me.

Well, me? huh? Scared?~lol Yah, I am scared when I'm left alone at home, especially at night. And my ceiling can get a hole because of my constant staring.~lol Well, I usually get scared when I hear noises. Like a sudden cat jumping on the roof or crying during mating season, which is the worst because it sounds quite eerie.~lol It's the noises that I don't like. I can stay up late at night but once I hear something unusual. I cease all my activity and go to bed.~lol I do not get bored when I am alone at home, especially during day time. Because I can do a lot of things without being disturbed or interupted. And it's fun to have the house all by yourself. You can cook or don't cook, clean or not, watch tv, sleep.~lol (^^,)

Hello worthy I really like to be alone at home, both in night and day. I usually sleep alone if my brother have job in other city. And there is no problem with me to stay alone at night. Play the computer or sleeping is my favorite when I am alone. So silent and quite. I can't cook, maybe just instant noodles LOL. I like to buy fast food.
