Traffic, to be more specific targeted traffic is the only solution to make a website successful. Have tried many of the opportunities, but can't still find the best one. What are the best alternative available to drag real targetted traffic?

Try submitting to blog directories (entrecard, mybloglog, blog catalog, blogengage), news sites (slashdot) and actively participate in forums where you can leave a link to your blog in your signature. Use feedburner to optimize, e.g. embed their animator in this site and others (see example for my blog Computer Tech Links - in my Mylot profile). Does involve work, but I do get visits this way...and subscriptions to my blog...

I don't know about targeted traffic being the only solution.
I like finding things at random.
I like finding forums from people's siggys.
Sadly many forums become siggy fobic.
Came here from a Mylot plug on NTC.
With TEs and social networks like this people are here to promote. Perhps some want to make money with discussions on mylot. I think I made .07 cents.
But I haven't posted a whole lot. One forum was paying $1 per sign up. Don't know if anyone got paid. Think I refered like 7 and you need 10 to get paid.
