American Idol Goes Country Next Week

I'm not sure how any of them will fair with next week's genre. I think Blake and Chris will end up making it very un-country, Lakesha may have a difficult time, Jordin, Melinda and Sanjaya will just do what they normally do and maybe Phil will shine...I doubt it, but maybe he'll find his nitche?

I'm not sure - it's hard to tell. I'm exciting with country week (I'm not the biggest country fan, but it's a nice change) and I like Martina McBride. All of the contestants aren't too different. We don't have anyone country, no rockers now... So I'm not sure who will do well. I HOPE Jordin and Blake will do well, because they're my favorites! :)

Yeah I also think that Blake and Jordin will do the best. I have been voting for these two . Sanjaya will struggle or sound terrible.

I'm a huge country fan-- I think Blake and Chris will excel! The seem to be able to embrace any kind of music- I even think Phil has a shot at this one. He seems country to me- Jordan will likely do well and Melinda- Although I don't care for either of them- I think Lakesha will try some big Martina song to try to show off her vocals-- and really flub it up- I am not a fan of hers either. Out of the women I think Jordan will do the best.

Next week is going to be interesting. :) I agree that probably Blake, Jordin and maybe Chris will do well. I don't know about Melinda, it'll be something different for her to try. I'm really scared to see what Sanjaya will come up with though. :)

Blake always seems to do well, so hopefully country week won't throw him off. I do think that Lakisha will have trouble. I have no worries about Sanjaya since his votes have never been based on his ability to sing, he'll just need a new hair-do next week.

I am not a country fan. Is it just me or has the themes of the week been sort of lame? I don't know who will do best but this is always a test week because country music is very popular even though it's not my fave. My favorite to win AI this year is Blake! He's the bomb!
