I had an emergency C-section recently with my first baby which really shocked me big time. It happened less than an hour after I entered the hospital. I wasn't in true labor, but 2 days passed due. Right after the doctor checked me, he had to send me to the OR because my baby's umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck. Everything went fine, but the experience was really something. And, I will never forget the pain.
