Air fresheners--- do you have some at home, in the office, or in your car?

I'm not quite sure if there are many of us here who are into air fresheners..be it in the office, at home or in your car.
Air fresheners does serve its purpose though in mitigating unpleasant odors in indoor spaces. Lucky enough for those who are living in country though coz they can just open their windows to get some lovely fresh air. But for those living in crowded cities, opening the windows isn't a good option. And that's where air fresheners come in (i supposed).
Well, if you had been using air fresheners at home or at the office, what kind of air fresheners do you usually grab from the market? Is it the sprays? or the candles? or potpourri? or gels? or anything else?
do share your thoughts.:)

I always buy the sprays and the candles..the potpourri was in the bathroom once and after a party, I found it all over the tub, the floor and in the toilet..so now I keep about 5 different kinds of spray in the bathroom, I keep Febreeze in the car, and the candles everywhere else..

I will use febreeze, but that is not really for the air. I use it if the laundry smells bad. Or the furniture. I have candles, and a candle warmer. I have potpourri, and I add new essential oils to it periodically. that is my favorite way to add fragrance, with natural, essential oils.

I don't usually buy air fresheners but since my husband usually gives me a stock of them I now used them inside our bedroom. It smells like a sweet rose. It is a spray. I also want to buy candles, maybe someday.

Air fresheners, especially ones that hang in the car, tend to give me migraines, so I stear clear of them. I tend to really like the smell for about 3 minutes, then it gradually just makes my head pound. Candles do the same thing sometimes.

i use room freshner every next day.it keeps the room clean and refreshing.I have always bought sprayers from the market which is easy to use and it lasts for a month,so its good for pocket too.in case of candles they once used looses its most of their fragrance in their first run only, leaving very less for the next time.

I do have air fresheners in my home and one at work that I need to replace. I just put a couple in my bathrooms as well as one in the hallway upstairs. I also have the spray can type as well which has a wonderful smell and can be used on clothing, carpeting and the air. I do not have one for my car however. I like the plug in kinds as well as the sprays and scented candles.

I think the most important place to always have air fresheners is the toilet! We have a spray, it's vanilla and the smell is very pleasant and certainly masks the odious smells when one has visited the toilet. I also have a vanilla cardboard freshener in the car. I love the smell of vanilla, can you tell LOL!

We use air freshners at our home time to time as well as in our car. At home I specially use air freshners becaue of the smell coming from cooking. Cooking smell feel good only during the cooking time, if it stay longer than that I don't feel good. That is the time when we use air freshners. Also in the bathroom we use air freshners.
Usually we use spray and candles.

I have a few of them with me.I use the sprays, but hardly use them at home .Yes, I use it in the car quite frequently. From the title I thought we were talking about air purifiers and thought it was a coincidence coz I got one for the kitchen only yesterday, but after reading the post I understood we are talking fresheners.I have never used the candles or the gels.

We have air freshners, particularly in the car. It helps get rid of the smell, especially when the weather is moist and suddenly sunny. I love the liquid one. They smell so good almost like perfume. I don't like the ones, shape like pine trees. I don't like the smell of it, but they are good air freshner with time. They get rid off bad smells. (^^,)

This is a different question, to say the least. :)
My favorite brand of air freshener is made by a company called Yankee Candle. There is, however, one drawback--they're strong . . . VERY STRONG! If you put one in your car it can be overpowering.

I prefer to use the sprays and will not choose the other options at all.The reason being very simple. When you use a spray it immediatley spreads all across the place and within no matter of time the place is filled with the fragrance serving the purpose. On the other hand the candles will not give such a result in less time.May be i will think of using the candles in the toilets but defitnitely not anywhere else. This is my opinion.I have also heard some of my friends saying that the smell of the spray is too intense and that it will affect if you have small children at home.I am still trying to analyze the point.

I have one of the hanging ones in my car with a leather scent. Then I have a berry oil one in my kitchen. We also have 3 or 4 cans of different sprays at work. With 8 teenage boys in the house we need something to keep the smells down.

I like to use fabreeze and lysol for my house. For the car I have one of those air fresheners that you hang from the mirror. It is new car scent. My mom has an airfreshener in her car that sprays by itself. It is on some type of a timer and it sprays every so often.
