To all pinoy members here in mylot and specially those filipina members who were discriminated against or ethnic /non-white members, here's some Good News, CBS has finally fired Don Imus instead of meting out a two weeks suspension. I hope this news will be a reminder to all those members here who are fond of making comments with racial slur. i am willing to be deducted of my points and/or my earnings be reduced just so i can convey this message to those who i intended for. Thank You...

i don't see at all why others will ever feel superior to those who belong to some races other than theirs. yet how they hate it when they are being discriminated, too. they are so quick to complain with voices so loud, you will never think that they are into the practice of the thing as well.

Racial discrimination has been existing long time ago but it's nice to know that some people who discriminates racially receive some sort of punishment. Anyway, I think sooner or later there will be no more racial discrimination especially if we people whom they look down upon can prove our worth.

GREAT NEWS!!!
Thank you so much bosing, for this info. This surely will be an eye-opener to people who are fond of giving malicious comments on one's race or origin.
I don't mind getting a negative rating in here also...IF AND ONLY IF myLot would be biased enough to allow it.

thanks too my friend. thats why i am asking for statistic, a realistic one, as to who is more prone to making racial slurs becuz i find it very depressing that we the cultural minorities are at the batting end. although we are still considered developing country doesnt mean other people have the right to oppress us...

it is good to know that those who go into the habit of racial discrimination get their fill of their hatred. to be deducted of some points and earnings for doing something which is right will never be hurting anyone at all. rather we should feel that we had been ably rewarded by the right action that these racists are getting.

thanks for your heart warming response kabayan. i find it very amusing indeed that one commented that we also are prone to racial slur which is very improbable statistically. BTW, Imus is getting back at CBS, he is suing CBS for the alleged $40M contract, it seems he is retracting his apology if ever his action will be pursued in court...
