Do you have more friends online than in real life?

I have more online friends than real life. And I have some really good friends online. If you see the numbers I have a lots of real life friends too. But from the time I started spending time online, I ended up with spending more time with my online friends too. That's why day by day my online friends are increasing.

I have a lot more friends on line than I do off line (I refuse to say "real life" because being on line is a part of real life). I have more friends on line because I find people are easier to communicate with that way. We get to know eachother, and then if we get to know eachother well enough we take the friendship off line. I would much rather get to know people in a neutral environment, and with similar interests to me, than just random people I meet on the street or in a bar, for example.

i have more online. i only have about 4 or 5 good real friends and 3 of them live far away. i spend a little too much time online and have made friends through league that i play in.

since i have been hooked up to internet few years back, i already had a lot of friends online, these were my friends who i have not met or talked to personally. these are my virtual friends who shared with me experiences and thoughts in life. we exchanged views or opinions through chatting and e-mails. although we had our pictures shared over the net yet we haven't got the chance to meet and see each other. unlike the real friends i have who i deal with almost everyday, they seem to be few only.

I have more friends online, but that's not really a good comparison. Sure I have a lot of online friends, but most of them I barely talk to or hear from. I have a friends in real life that I hang out with pretty often. Sure I may have more online friends, but my real friends are the ones I see in real life.

I have lots of friends online and some of them have become really good RL friends too. We've met up and some have even stayed at my house a few times. I 'talk' to my online friends a lot more often through MSN, sometimes I'm on it all day. IMO there are somethings that are easier to talk about to someone who is basically anonymous and who you don't have to face every day. Also, I met a lot of my online friends because we share similar interests or hobbies so we always have something to talk about, whereas my RL friends have no interest in those parts of my life.
