While the Duke lacrosse players have ruled out suing the former district attorney do you think that they should. This guy set out to destroy them knowing that the evidence just wasn't there. I am sure that these guy's will forever deal with women differently having had this experience.

I do not think they should really sue because he said it and he said he is very sorry. I don't know why it exploded like that but everyone is entitle to there own opinion.

Sometimes sorry is not enough. it was not like he misread or just made a mistake this guy purposely ignored the facts in the case.

I hope that they sue the state as well as the supposed victim. A clear review of the evidence at anytime would prove to any reasonable person that there was no guilt on the part of the accused. They publicly harrassed, suspended from school, not allowed to play lacrosse, portrayed as accused rapists in the national media, basically destroyed.
It should have stopped when the DNA results came back negative. There was not any honest mistake on the part of the victim or the prosecutor and both should be punished.
