Well I live in Canada, so our diet is much the same as in the US. I was born in Newfoundland, Canada and the one thing they eat differently there is salt beef. The beef comes in a tub and is soaked in extreme salt water. When you have this with your dinner it is called a Jigs Dinner!

OH wow, that's really different. I'm not crazy about salt but I suppose if it were cooked in a soup with a lot of vegetables you wouldn't need to add any extra salt.

I am from Malaysia and we eat rice twice in a day in our meals time. We eat plain rice with the other side dish and normally will not have our lunch without rice. During morning, mostly we cook a fried rice for our breakfast. There are different styles of fried rices and taste also are different.

Hi I am from Australia. The main foods I eat regularly are Home cooked Chicken, Home made Pizza, T-bone and veggies. We have sausages and chops cooked on a bbq quite regulaly as well. We don't eat much rice or pasta, I like these foods but my hubby and son not that keen. If we get take out my favourite is KFC or Barnacle Bills which is a seafood restaurant.

Those foods sound so much like what many Americans would eat. In my case though I love pasta.

In the Philippines, it's not real dining if it doesn't have rice. Whatever is your viand, you should eat it with rice. You see, rice has been one of the major content of every household's dining table here. I personally, thinks, my dining is incomplete without rice, a little amount will do, as long as it is present, except of course if I am having pizza or pasta, I think rice can be excused. Fastfoods are also a big hit in this country, especially those who serve crispy and juicy fried chicken, yummy burgers and spaghetti. :D
