Congratulations! Saying no to gossip is a great achievement. Although it seems to be human nature, it is also the way to ruin a person's life. I always remind myself of how upset I would be if someone were discussing my life negatively behind my back. I would be crushed. It's not really worth it in the long run. I hope you're able to abide by your convictions and avoid gossip from here on out...I'm sure it will improve your quality of life!

It takes courage to break a bad habit. I hope I will not be tempted and make a strong resolution.

The best way is tto stop participating in gossips or to even start it. I've been a victim of malicious gossips and it hurts very deeply. I think people who starts gossiping about other people know not of their own flaws. No humans are without any flaws. What if one day you'll be the subject of such malicious gossips? Would you like it? Even if you were to ignore it, you'll get affected by it somehow or another. I would say thank you to you for stopping as i always believe in retribution. :
