It's a GIRL!!

Hello, I went to the doctor today for a routine U/S, and she says that she thinks it might be a GIRL! My husband was elated, because he's been wanting a daughter since we found out I was pregnant with my son. We don't officially find out until I go back in for another appointment in 4 weeks.
I thought I was 18 weeks, but apparently I'm 20 weeks, and my due date is August 23. Making it almost a full month before my son turns 1. We were delayed with my check-ups, and U/S's because of insurance problems, but as long as the baby is fine.. we're okay with it.
This time she definitely recommends, that I get some sort of birth control. I agree, I don't want to have 3 under 3! (=

That would be tricky having 3 kids under the age of 3. I don't know how people with triplets manage it! But congratulations! Now you that you will have a girl and boy (presuming the doctor was correct) you have an equal number of girls and boys in the household. My poor dad, he was outnumbered. With a wife and two daughters, he never stood a chance! : )

I've always just wanted 2 kids. A boy and a girl, with the boy being the oldest. And that's exactly what I'm having. Although, hubby wants to have 6 kids! How I'll handle 6 kids, or having 6 kids just boggles my mind.

Congratulations on your pregnancy, and on having a girl. MY dauthter in law has 3 under 3. And let me tell you, that is all she does!! I have a girl and a boy. Of course they are grown now, but it is nice having one of each!
