West Indies' last two World Cup games are shaping up as a valedictory to the captain Brian Lara, who will rtire from one-day internationals after the world cup 2007.This is his 5th WC. Played good cricket all the way in this long and hard career.I think he get the correct decision.

Its a tough decision for sure, for both Lara and his fans. It is very difficult to decide when one should retire. Should you retire when you are still at the peak or only when you think you cannot contribute anymore.
I think Lara took the decision because of the world cup debacle and his fallout with the West Indian cricket administrators.
We enjoyed you Lara! Keep doing well in test matches!

He's obviously disappointed by his teams performance in the world cup. But I appreciate that he is retiring when he is still quite good which means that people will always remember him asa good cricketer. He may start going down if he plays further. Good sportsmen retire at the right time and I'm sure Lara has decided well.
