Don't worry....I told her I was going to post about her little incident. All she said was "Gee, thanks sis". LOL Anyway, last year I ended up having issues with our yard wasted dumpster. You know that sign that says not to push the can with the lid open? Well, I proved the reason for it. I ended up stepping on the edge of the lid, the dumpster came crashing down, I went down onto my knee on the lid, and the edge of the can clobbered me right above the right temple causing me to have a concussion and a major black eye. Of course, hubby had to be a smartypants and ask if the dumpster was ok. You can well imagine the colorful comeback I had for him.
So tonight, my best friend admitted to her issues with their dumpster that happened yesterday. She did the same as me, stepped on the lid. But instead of going down to the ground and hitting her head, she ended up INSIDE the dumpster upside down with her feet sticking out of the opening! After trying to contain myself and making sure she was ok, I came unglued and laughed until I cried. Fortunately, she was laughing too. (We laughed when my incident happened as well.)
I guess we are two peas in a pod. We both trip over air, and we both get into arguments with waste dumpsters! So the next time any of you think you're being a clutz, just think of us and our dumpsters and you won't feel quite so silly. LOL

Ahhh, sisters after my heart!
The roomie & I were cleaning house one weekend - pretty major cleaning. The roomie has some balance issues due to middle ear problems & I was standing next to her when I saw her lose her balance. She was teetering & I reached out & pushed her back on to her feet. She thanked me & we got back to work. Well, I went out with some trash about 5 minutes later & on the way back in I just stepped right off the ramp & went down right on my front. I didn't land face first, but it was only because I held my head back. I got up & we kept on working, but boy was I hurting the next day!
I don't seem to fall any other way than like the mighty redwood anymore.
A few years later, about a month after sholder surgery, I had put the dog out and Gabby, one of the inside cats, ran out. I went out after her, tripped over something & went down on the side that had the surgery! Could it have been dry? Noooo, had to be after a rare summer shower & everything was muddy! It was also Sunday morning about 8 a.m. & NOBODY in the area was awake to hear me cry for help! I lay there trying to determine if I had reinjured my sholder, then trying to figure out how to get up without using the arm too much. I finally got up & limped back in the house. I woke up the roomie to go get the cat while I showered the mud off. Honestly, if it had been my cat I'd've left her out for a while!
