Does it just bother you when you see stupid kids flaunting their phones.

All the time, I see morons out and about, usually thirteen-year-olds who have just received their cell phones, flaunting them, picking them up at every opportunity.
Does that just annoy the dickens out of you, or is it just me?I've actually had people tell me that they are better than me because they have a cool phone. I say that they only have that phone because they need it to compensate for their utter lack of personality (among other things...).
What do you think? Does it just piss you off when you see people like this? In my opinion, people who go around flaunting their phones shouldn't be allowed to vote.

I do understand the excitement and thrill of getting that first mobile phone. But I don't agree with people who go around thinking that they are above you just because they have the latest cell phone. After a while, even the latest cell phone becomes an old phone. I usually just ignore these types of people and do not let them bother me. Like you, I find these people shallow and overly egoistic.
This is a growing problem among kids these days and the growing materialistic mentality among them. They live in a time of comfort, to the point that washing dishes becomes a "chore". In my life, washing dishes was the logical thing to do after eating from it. They live now in a time where material possession determines if you're with the "in" crowd and not your personality.
These pampered brats should be sent to training camps where they are stripped of everything they own and have nothing to depend on but themselves.

Well that's just plain stupid and rude for someone to tell you that you are low because your cell phone or whatever is out dated. It's shallow...and I do agree with you, it does piss me off sometimes when I see them flashing their bluetooth ear pieces and phone.
YET I think it depends on the person's "judgmental" view. I own products like Nokia, omega, parker pens, designer's jeans . . . does that make me shallow? I don't go flashing them in somebody's face and say "you suck". It's a matter of style and style is not a logo that sticks to the roof of one's @$$... to them, they are just toys that they will be bored of soon.
Things like these tell me something about the owner. Symbols of their personalities, sort of speak.

It does make me annoyed. I also suppose it makes their parents mad when they see how large their cellphone bill is now. It also tells me, if it is okay for stupid kids to have cellphones, then it should be mandatory for all adults and we should get them free.

no lil kids that flaunt there phones don't bother me only cuz i keep up with the younger kids and if they pull out there phone and try and show me something i just pull mine out and let my screen flip. sorry to hear that they said they was better then u. but if i was you i would of snatched there phone and roofed it or let it met the pavement and ask them how much better r they then me now. i did at my old job have a couple friends say i need to up grade my phone and throw away the vcr that i was walking around with in my pocket. gotta say it motivated me and i had a new phone in a week or two. come to find out the person who said i was walkin around with the vcr ended up getting i razor to and tried to say i copied him lol
