As 2008 is coming up,more and more people think it the turing point of Taiwan issue cause Chen shuipian,the current taiwan leader might declare his independence manifesto considering Chinese main land would not use military force to prevent his action for the sake of 2008 Beijing Olympics/Anyway,lots of people suppose 2008 would be the showdown time for both sides across the straits. Which direction do you think the Taiwan issue would walk to,and who is gonna be the next Taiwan leader.Would it be helpful to solve the issue if the KMT(the main opposition party)takes power in 2008 elction?
