Very ironic wouldn't you say? My grandfather, who was 100 percent Armenian, was racist against any non-white or non-mediterranean folks. I did some research into the origins of the Armenian race a few days back. Some of the BC-era races that went into the Armenian race include the Persian civilizations (where black slaves were common), and Hittite civilization, which extended all the way down into Africa. So, more likely than not, he's got some black in him, which means I've got some black in me. I KNOW it would infuriate him. Me? I like it ^_^

Supposedly Hitler has some Jewish blood in him, or at least he thought he did. Some scholars think that may have been part of the reason he wanted to exterminate the Jews; like he was trying to erase it from himself by wiping out others.

My mom was always kind of non conventional in her thinking. Her dad was extremely racist. She tried her best not to be. She had a lot of illnesses, or believed she did. She always thought it would be funny if she were to turn out to have sickle cell anemia because that is a disease that is predominantly associated with black people. She also found it ironic that no matter how badly grandpa hated Native Americans, he was content to live on land that was obtained by Grandma being on the Indian Rolls.

If we go back far enough in our ancestry wewill find that we all have a race that we could be unhappy about. But we all came from the same family.

The most hateful people in the world is themselves. People in general have a self-image/hating issues. The grass always look greener on the otherside. It takes one to know one.
