there can be a long line of cars and someone will still wait, rather then park and go in...
i understand that it can be convenient if you have small children...
what do you think about this.?.

I've never understood the fascination with the drive thru either. Even with kids, there are days it would just make more sense to go into the lobby and order. Especially with gas prices the way they are.
But, people are lazy. That's why they are eating at a fast food place rather than cooking dinner/lunch at home.

We've always lived in smaller towns and rural areas, and our fast food places are never very busy. We've always found it easiest to go through the drive-through, because there's never a wait. If there does happen to be a long line somewhere, we usually go inside to order instead.

It's not laziness, it's a matter of convenience. Besides, most of the time there is a line inside too.

I'm not sure why others prefer the drive thru. I have 4 children and it's much less hassle to go through the drive thru instead of going inside. If I am by myself or if I have 2 of my children I will go inside.

Going to the drive thru isn't being lazy. Maybe people would rather get their food and take it to their home, where they are comfortable. I only use the drive thru when I'm in a hurry. Does that make me lazy? I eat most of my meals at home so the few times that I go to a fast food restraunt I am being lazy? I don't think so.

I don't think it's being lazy I think it's convenient and probably even if there's a line a lot quicker service. I rarely go in to order food I always use the drive thru, I even use the drive thru at the bank.

I always shake my head when I see the long lines out to the road for the drive through while they would be served within minutes inside ...
So definitely lazy ...

Sometimes, yes. Like the time I was in the drive-thru behind a guy that was reading the menu off to someone on his cell phone. Why couldn't he go inside and read it off from in there instead of blocking the drive-thru lane? That was just pure laziness - and rude!
I usually go through the drive-thru because when I eat fast food I'm in a hurry. But if the line is really long I go inside.

I go through the drivethru when I'm in a hurry. I generally don't though as most the time it's faster too go in and order

no maybe they just don't want to get out. why waste time if they give you a convenient alternative. time is the most valuable thing on earth.
