embarassingly enough this has happened to me a few times.
I'll be doing something and in the middle of it and doze off.
I've been on IM and having a great discussion and next thing I know, I wake up and my IM friend has logged out.
I'm guessing part of my problem is I have a wireless keyboard and am able to put my feet up and relax.

Sure, I have fallen asleep in front of the computer a few times. It especially seems to happen when the room is on the warm side, and I have been working on something (or been online) for a few hours without taking a break. All of a sudden I'll just nod off, and when I open my eyes again, the screen saver has come on... so I know I have been "gone" for at least 10 minutes.
I've fallen asleep in the middle of an IM conversation ONCE... and that was pretty embrarrasing.

i often fall asleep in front of the computer during my college days. these are the times when i had to finish the papers required in our school. this is also the best way for me to relax and it is easier for me to get back to work than if i have to go to my bed.
but now, i seldom do that anymore. i have started disciplining myself on not to stay up too late in front of my computer. now i have a separate room already for the computer, which is far from our bedroom.

I've come really close a couple of times but haven't quite fallen asleep yet. But once that wireless connection gets installed though, I don't know. Wife already hates that I stay up late on this thing so. Can you say Coffee....

Not only in front of computer I have fallen asleep while riding a bike, while acting in a play on our annual day function and on the result day. Basically I can fight sleep for many hours but once the limit is crossed nothing and I mean nothing can stop me from having a nice sound little nap no matter the position is comfortable or not.

I'm guessing that because you are so comfortable, its' easy to fall asleep. I work at my desk all the time so there's no chance of me falling asleep in front of the computer, but my husband works on the couch with his laptop and sure enough there are plenty of times I catch him sleeping with both the dog and the laptop.

LOL. I thought that I was the only one who fell asleep at the computer! I am actually glad to hear that others do it too. I don't have a wireless keyboard but sometimes I am just so tired that I nod off which is a bad bad thing. One time I fell asleep and woke up when I slid sideways and whammed my head into the bookshelf that is right next to the computer! OUCH! It hurt a bit and helped me to try harder not to fall asleep at the computer. Of course I still start to nod off at times but I try to get in bed quick before I hit my head again!!

There are a lot of exciting things to do with your PC especially when you are online. You can chat, can email, can play online games and enjoy discussions in mylot.
While I devote time for work, I do have time for these exciting things too; thus, who can sleep? Well, I remember one time when I was so sleepy I wanna sleep in front of the monitor but well, I'm at work, I can't sleep can I?
But I there are several times that I did slept in front of the monitor. You see, I have a curfew in my apratment, I should be in before 11PM or they'll lock the gates. Well, I've been out with friends a few times and had forgotten my curfew, so I have to stay out and wait for the morning to come. I can stay with my friends but I don't wanna be an inconvenience so I prefer to go to an internet cafe (with cubicles) and sleep there. I'll be paying for my stay but it's ok, I can sleep sitting down, no biggie :D
