I'm the one doing the meal plan at home and my plan includes lots of veggie (only those that I eat), and either fish or meat to make it balanced. However, I'm trying to cut down on my rice intake, like you. So as of last night I planned to eat rice only in the morning and eat either viand or sandwiches during lunch and dinner. When I get used to it I will totally stay away from rice.
However, I feel that my eating sandwiches all the time is not healthy especially if I want to lose weight. My officemate hasn't eaten rice for 2 weeks now. She eats only veggies and fruits. Ugh! I'm not like her. I don't think I can do what she's doing.

yes, I did try to cut my rice since yesterday and there was no change that I have noticed with ow my stomach have reacted to it. I still feel tha same. Fruits and vegetables are best for our body coz somehow it cleanses our body of toxic things from eating too much junk and lots of oily foods.

Continue what you've started. Losing weight doesn't happen overnight. I can't discipline myself. But if it'll work for you and you can do it, go girl! I'm cheering you on.
Thanks for marking mine as best response.

It was the scare of Diabetes that finally got me to see the light. I love eating and cooking but something had to change. I finally talked with a friend who is on a new lifestyle diet. It revolves around an herbal drink of barley and alfalfa juice that cleanses the body and also detoxs at the same time. It also involves eating fruits and vegetables along with Vegan life style and exercise. I was at my wits end and really tired of all the medications I am on so I went it to the plan with both feet as they say. I have lost 4.5 lbs in a week since I last saw my doctor. I will see my doctor next Wednesday and I cant wait to see what she has to say. I am 38 lbs away from my goal and I feel great! If you want to know more about this plan go to www.hacres.com.

A change of lifestyle is the key to healthy living, its not so hard as long we have decided to be healthy and we will reap the results of our sacrifices.

It is so sad that people are trying to eat healthily but you are doing the exact opposite. It seems that you are in a depressive mood? What has happened to you, dear?
Once a while to indulge on such food is a enjoyment. But as a substitute for rice, it appears to be too drastic unless you are on a certain type of diet formula. I too have such cravings especially if I have not been eating them for a long time. HOwever, if I am stressed or unhappy, such food really spike me up, even though I know they are not healthy and is not recommended.

hello whyaskQ!
I was just even wondering why I came to this point of craving unhealthy food. Im just ok and Im not in the point having depression of some kind ( God forbid) but I guess this has something to do with my hormonal changes and you know things that involves women likeme.
