No i don't agree to that. I have played it a little and i can say that in the world there are a lot of fanatic persons about this game..

It can be a fun diversion, or it can be life-consuming. I started playing it for fun and got serious with it, being in a hardcore guild that raided just about everyday. So I found myself spending more and more time playing it. After they released the Burning Crusade expansion, I decided to quit playing. I think they kind've ruined the game for me with the expansion because no longer did you need large guilds and the one I was in broke up into 2 smaller ones with crazy drama. So I view it as a blessing and a curse, because no longer did I have fun playing but the I did get my life back. So yeah in moderation it's fine, it you let yourself become consumed with it then it's time to find something worthwhile to do with your life, like reading a book or something. :)
