To be truth i read whats others have said before i respond...... To know where the line is going! i definatly don COPY but then to aviod clashes of same response! Though sometimes i dont but it feels better if i read others responses and get to learn and know much too! And to tell you it wastes lots of time of mine... i post only 30-35 responses a day where i sit for around 5-6 hours a day! Guess what i do??? i read all the responses before i response... man it does not let me earn much but is sure fun!!! and i love it too;) How about you??? do you read or just response??? Am i only the crazy one or anyone in my gange? lol Amd if you don read you are still COOL as yoyu saving time!

To be honest, I don't anymore. I have email notification on for practically everyone on my friend list. This means thousands of email notifications a day. I would be lucky if I can clear them in good time. So what I do is I normally run through the discussion and respond from the email link if I have something to add. It is just not possible for me to read thousands of discussions AND all their accompanying responses. I like to confess that I remain a HUMAN, not a robot. :PPP

Most of the times i do, but somtimes i do not. I can tell you that it depends on the topic, there are topics that i am very sure of my opinion, and i do not care to read before my response, other people's responses. i post my response, and just after wards i read the other responses. and there are times that i first read, and just then react. I can tell you that i did not read any other responses to this topic before i stated my opinion on the topic.

I do it depending on the topic.. Some topics need to be referred through posts if the description of the topic is not clear.. else, i will post my relpy without goin thro the previous replies.. It also depends on how fresh our answer is.. So, i will check for few posts and then will post my response..

It depends how many responses tehre are. If there are only a few pages then I will read them but if there are 10 pages then I will just read the first few pages and the last page.

Absolutely! I completely agree with you. When there are few pages, it is worth to read all of them. But it's impossible when no. of pages exceed. So the best way is to read randomly, some in the beginning, and some at the last.

Yes I do try to read the previous responses for the discussion I am responding to.But if there are too many responses then it is not possible for me and I just go through the responses that are on the first page of the discussion. As I am here for money and reading 30-40 or even 100 responses will take away all my time and I will not be able to respond to mucn responses. After all reading the responses dosen't pay you anything. It is the responses you give which pay you.But still I try my best to read as much responses as possible. So that I ado not repeat what is there in the previous responses and I could add something more to the discussion.

Mariamaka, "Don't respond to a discussion until you've read all of the responses" is the terms & conditions of Mylot. So, we should follow it.

I usually read through some of the responses, but I only read them all if there are not a lot of responses posted. I could not imagine reading 80 or 90 responses to a discussion, unless of course it was a discussion that I had started. I have even been known to read a few, make my own response and then read a few more afterwards.

I respond a few, I read the whole posts from the other members. I get more ideas, and what their opinions are, they understand the posts better than me, I get the clues from them, and summary to mine.

I try to. Now and then I might skim depending on how many responses there are but usually I do read them all. Yes it takes time but I do it for a few of reasons. The first because it's in the guidelines. That's right if you look at the guidelines it is in the do section. The other is so I can actually add to the discussion. Doesn't do much good to post to a discussion and not be able to give something to it that is meaningful. The last reason is because sometimes the discussion wasn't clear or maybe they left something out,or there is more information to be given and the poster didn't realize but it becomes clear in the comments they give to those who have already posted. That last part is really the main reason I do because I know myself I've messed up and had to clarify things via the comments.

I sometimes skim through the first page of the discussion before I post when I can, especially if I find familiar avatars, but it's mostly after submitting the response that I do it.Sometimes, reading responses before we post our own influences our way of thinking and even if subconsciously ,it does affect our response.I like to think freely and then hear what others have to say on the topic.

Yes, I do read first before i make reply. Because tihout reading, you might answer the wrongly. So better read it before posting. You don;t want to be called careless posters right? Also, with what you have read, you can work your reply from there.Do Good!

I do read what others have written for the discussion, to avoid the same kind of response, it also helps to analyze the discussion and give more inputs for my response...

I don't like reading other say before I post. I like to say what's on my mind and I don't want to be influenced by what I see others write. I suppose it would probably be a good idea to read the others so that I am not duplicating what others say. But I prefer to do it this way.

it depends on the topic.. if its really debatable, i read all the responses and respond to each one that i think is opposite of my opinion.... but if its a yes no question, i dont read them all... n_n

It depends on how many responses there already are- I am more likely to read them if there are 4 than if there are 40. Also, it depends on how interested I am in the topic. If it really catches my interest, I am more likely to be interested in what everyone else is saying about it.

If you dont read what others have to say then you risk repeating what has already been said or you might not post something that is relavent to the current line of discussion. Anyways i would have to say yes i do read what others have to say before i post anything.
