Mylot star rating

This star represents your MyLot Reputation Rating. It also shows how well you work with it. You will be able to get a much higher rating when you post quality response and discussions. Make sure that you have read the guidelines set by this site. You might violate some rules, this will also affect your rating. Better post and respond in quality, give the best in you. It will also help if you rate other discussions (+) or (-) and putting tags on your discussion. Just continue making quality responses and your star rating will become 10. You will go up as people rate you, also it is a good idea to rate others and always tag your discussions. I reached a nine before I got to 200 points and have remained there ever since, I have never went down but I would like to reach 10 if only for a little while but I am doing O.K. I guess. The colour of the star and the number within it shows the rating from our members to our posting in mylot. There are some members who sent plenty of posting daily but their star rating is low as compared to those who posted not so many and their star rating higher. This tell us that rating of star base on qulity and not quantity. This is what I know and hope to bring help for you.

I only see the color of the stars go different depending on the rating, I think that is just so people don't get confused with other ratings. I only have a 7 but I have had that since just after I reached 100 postings. My 1st rating was a 4 & that star was purple. All other 4 ratings would be purple just like my 7 rating has a silver all other 7's would be the same.
