Which one is more important: Certificates or experience?

I think experience is more important in job-hunting. But for guaduate students, how can they gain experience in the university,especially for those full-time students?

Well,according to me experience is more important since certificates can be made by bribing the authorities concerned.But for job hunting,in front of the interview panel,they will first see your documents and as we say 'first impression is the last impression',at that time certificates will be of more importance than experience.

On my own opinion, certificates is more important,most especially when you are a newly graduate. Certificates is the stepping stone and companies do rely on certificates infront of their desk.

In my opinion,both of them are important. Nowadays, if you don't have a higher certificate,you cannot find a good job. And I think that is the first important step for a job. After you get the job, you can have experience.

Education has its own importance. You can never deny it. As far as experience is concerned you get the job but then not the top-levels. You have to work for it gradually. But some lucky ones get good jobs too.

i think experience is more important... because it teaches you a lot of things when u do something actually.... say the final year project teaches an engineer more thatn he learnt in 4 years from book..!
